Do I need a lawyer to register a company in Uganda?
No. You are not required by law to use a lawyer to register a company in Uganda. Company registration can be completed through a professional company formation and compliance agency.

Do I need a registered office address to form a company?
Yes. Every company registered in Uganda must have a registered office physical address located within Uganda. This address is recorded with URSB and is used for statutory records and inspections.
Is a P.O. Box required when registering a company?
Yes. All companies in Uganda are required to have a postal address (P.O. Box) in addition to a physical registered office address.
Can a foreigner register a company in Uganda?

Will my residential address appear on the public register?

One valid government-issued photo ID
